Live-streamed teaching scores a hat-trick; 3x better results for students learning online with MyEdSpace
- 51% of MyEdSpace GCSE Maths students achieved grades 7-9, more than triple the national average

London, UK – 23rd October 2025: Students combining the hat-trick of live-streaming, real-life teachers and social media have beaten the national average for GCSEs by three times, according to the UK’s fastest-growing edtech platform MyEdSpace.
Pupils using MyEdSpace’s mix of technology and expert teaching has proven to be a powerful combination in achieving top GCSE results.
This summer, 51% of MyEdSpace GCSE Maths students achieved top grades 7-9, more than triple the national average. In English Literature and English Language, 44% and 43% of students respectively scored grades 7-9, double the national average.
MyEdSpace combines the best of both worlds: highly qualified teachers – all required to resit their A-Levels and score near-perfect marks – and smart AI tools that structure learning and track progress.
This model helps tackle the challenges facing traditional education, from teacher shortages to rising tutoring costs, while keeping lessons accessible from just £5 an hour compared to an average of £37 for private tutoring.
The results build on last year’s success, when 40% of MyEdSpace’s GCSE Maths grades were 8/9 vs. the national average of just 9%. MyEdSpace increased its total number of students taking GCSEs by 148% from 2023/24 to 2024/25. The fact that grades have remained so high with such a significant increase in student numbers proves that human expertise and technology-driven learning gives students a unique edge.
Since its launch in 2022, MyEdSpace has supported more than 16,000 students. Its teachers, who have built a combined following of 4 million across social media, are breaking down complex concepts in the same formats young people already use every day.
Parents are seeing the difference too: 83% report a more positive attitude from their children after joining the platform.
