27 August 2025: Thousands of UK pupils will join children across the world for JUST ONE Tree Day on Friday 17 October 2025 to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss.
From pre-schools to colleges, thousands of pupils will spend a day learning about how to save and restore our planet using the free educational resource packs provided. Every pound raised plants a tree in areas hit hardest by deforestation.
Since launching in 2019, over 240,000 children from 17 countries have taken part, planting more than 380,000 trees in Africa, Asia & South America – restoring vital habitats, supporting local communities and removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

JUST ONE Tree Day is the flagship event of British not-for-profit JUST ONE Tree, a proud partner of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. The day inspires children and young people to see how their individual actions make a difference in tackling climate change and biodiversity loss.
