LEADING education technology provider Daisy Education has launched its annual Festive Poem Competition, offering schools a unique opportunity to spark student creativity through poetry and win a year’s subscription to DreamBox Reading Plus for an entire class.
Teachers are invited to encourage students to write a poem on the theme “Festive Feelings”. Whether magical, funny or reflective, entries can rhyme (or not), be free verse or acrostic, but should be no longer than 12 lines.
The winning school will receive a one-year licence for the online reading development programme DreamBox Reading Plus for an entire class (up to 35 licences), complete with full training, implementation and ongoing support. The runner-up will be awarded a £150 voucher and a certificate, while the third-place school will receive a £100 voucher and certificate.
