Pupils at a leading school in Coventry are benefitting from the complete refurbishment of their senior school, with works designed to enhance teaching, learning, wellbeing and school life.
Pattison School, an inclusive independent day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 and located on Binley Road, has announced the completion of the refurbishment of its senior school following an almost £1 million investment in its facilities.
Teaching spaces have been transformed to support curriculum delivery, including a modern, state-of-the-art science laboratory to further strengthen practical STEM learning. There is also a bright new art studio to provide GCSE pupils with a dedicated space to develop their creativity, building on the school’s rich heritage in performing and creative arts.
Outside, the school’s multi-use games area, where pupils enjoy developing their skills in a wide range of sports including football, basketball and tennis through PE lessons and an array of clubs, has been renovated, with works including an upgraded surface and new fencing to enhance the environment.
A new entrance and reception area have also been established at the school to provide a contemporary, welcoming arrival point for pupils, families and visitors. Corridors have also been reconfigured to enable pupils and staff to move around the building more easily.

In addition, further improvements include refurbished toilets, a new modern medical and wellbeing room and improved office spaces for staff.
Pattison School is part of the Blenheim Schools family, whose investment further strengthens the school’s commitment to high-quality facilities that support academic success.
Charles Stafford Northcote, Headteacher at Pattison School, said:
“These refurbishments have completely transformed our senior school, creating an environment where all pupils can thrive and pursue their curricular interests.
“Blenheim Schools has enabled us to design and create these new spaces that inspire creativity, enhance learning and support wellbeing.
“State-of-the-art facilities mean our pupils can grow in confidence, imagination and academic strength and we are very thankful for Blenheim’s investment and all those who worked on the bringing this together.
“The new facilities have been extremely well-received by both pupils and staff, and mark the start of an exciting new chapter for the school.”
