Net Zero Buildings (NZB), an offsite manufacturer pioneering for a net zero education estate, announces its partnership with School Estates Thought Leaders (SETL) as the organisation’s chosen modular partner.
SETL supports school estates managers across the UK providing on-hand advice, resources and training. NZB’s partnership will help to drive progress in education estates by offering the support that school estates managers require.
As an online community, SETL provides a collaborative hub for estates managers to solve problems, share experiences, and ultimately improve their estates with the support of industry peers. Consisting of nine key partner areas, including estates strategy, fire safety and facilities management, the platform offers accessible knowledge and support across a range of key areas. With this partnership, NZB will provide expert advice in modular and temporary classrooms.
With representatives from over 600 schools across the UK already involved since its launch at the start of July, SETL will also offer social value initiatives for estates managers to tap into. These include ‘Constructive Futures’, a programme helping to get young people interested in the built environment, along with ‘Safety Superhero Academy’, which focuses on teaching safety values to primary school pupils.
Through its partnership with SETL, NZB continues to pursue its mission to inspire positive change in the education sector through net zero buildings, benefitting students, staff and school estates managers alike.
