Stavanger, Norway, 15th April 2026: Easee, the leading smart EV charging technology company, has partnered with installer EVX Charging Solutions to deploy more than 90 electric vehicle chargers across 13 schools in the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust (ODBST), supporting the Trust’s wider commitment to cleaner transport, reduced emissions and healthier school environments.
The rollout includes a flagship project at Chiltern Hills Academy, where 16 Easee chargers have now been installed to support staff, visitors and the school’s incoming electric minibus. The shift to electric is expected to help the school save 7,000kg of CO₂ annually, delivering a meaningful reduction in emissions and reinforcing the school’s sustainability strategy.
The initiative has been made possible through the UK Government’s Workplace Charging Scheme for state-funded education institutions, which covers the cost of purchasing and installing EV charge points. Easee and EVX Charging Solutions are working jointly to help schools navigate the application process, unlock available funding and implement efficient, reliable charging infrastructure that meets long-term fleet and sustainability needs.

This expansion of charging infrastructure builds on Easee’s growing presence in the UK and Europe, where the business has deployed over a million connected chargers designed to enable smart, seamless and scalable electrification. Easee’s product ecosystem is engineered for reliability, intuitive operation and long-term performance, supported by built-in connectivity that ensures chargers remain updated and future-ready
Sam Levy, UK Sales Director at Easee, commented: “Electric vehicles play a vital role in building a cleaner, quieter environment for local communities, and schools represent one of the most valuable and impactful opportunities to accelerate progress in this respect. By equipping schools across Buckinghamshire with reliable, future-ready charging infrastructure, we’re helping them reduce emissions, improve air quality and make electrification work hard for teachers, parents and minibus drivers alike.”
Jack Morgan, Managing Director of EVX Charging Solutions, commented: “Schools are seeing more electric vehicles on-site than ever, from teachers’ own cars to minibus fleets, and it’s essential that charging is convenient, reliable and simple for them to use. That’s exactly why we chose Easee; their chargers are exceptionally easy to install, easy to use and backed by outstanding reliability, lifetime data connectivity and excellent customer service.
“Together, with the support of invaluable Government funding, we’ve been able to create a seamless charging experience for schools and for every driver who plugs in; which is exactly what the EV experience needs to be to ensure adoption accelerates.”
Ella Swinhoe, Sustainability Lead at the ODBST, said: “This project supports our ambition to improve sustainability across our schools while also delivering practical benefits for staff and communities. At ODBST, sustainability is a clear priority, and the rollout of EV chargers is another positive step in helping people make greener, more sustainable choices.”

Easee’s chargers are designed with long-term resilience and energy optimisation in mind. Across Europe, the company’s expansive network of connected chargers provide a critical link in smart energy management – future-ready technology that helps ensure charging remains stable and efficient even as EV adoption increases. For schools, this means infrastructure that is robust today and capable of adapting to future fleet expansion, energy demands and policy changes.
Through the Workplace Charging Scheme, state-funded schools can significantly reduce the cost of upgrading their EV infrastructure with zero upfront costs. EVX Charging Solutions provide end-to-end support – including site assessments, charge-point planning, funding guidance and installation; helping schools maximise available grants and future-proof their estates cost-effectively.
