The LTC Education Group, the education arm of the Licensed Trade Charity (LTC), has announced a series of senior leadership appointments as it continues to expand its specialist provision.
From 1 April 2026, Rachel Borland, currently Principal of LVS Hassocks, has been promoted to Executive Principal of LVS Hassocks and Kennington School. In this role, she will provide strategic leadership across both schools, supporting their continued development and ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach to specialist education.
Mel Waller, currently Principal of LVS Oxford, has also been promoted to Executive Principal of LVS Oxford from 1 April 2026, recognising her leadership and the strong progress of the school.
Both Rachel and Mel will join the LTC Executive team from 1 September 2026, further strengthening organisational leadership as the Group continues to grow.
The appointments come at a significant point in the development of the LTC Education Group, which now comprises five schools, three of which specialise in supporting children with a diagnosis of autism. This growing portfolio reflects the Charity’s increasing expertise in specialist education and its emerging role as a trusted voice within the sector.

At LVS Hassocks, Vice Principal Stefan Amati will continue in his role and will lead the school when Rachel Borland is working off-site, ensuring continuity for staff and pupils.

Kennington School, part of the expanding LTC Education Group, is currently preparing to open and will benefit from established leadership and the Group’s specialist expertise from the outset.
