The start of term is the moment to set expectations and Premier League Primary Stars is supporting teachers with Play the Right Way, a free resource pack designed to help pupils explore respect, teamwork and managing emotions.
The pack includes:
- A short, engaging film
- An assembly plan
- Flexible classroom activities
Together, these tools give teachers the means to establish positive relationships and behaviours from day one.
The resource comes at a vital moment. Hark’s Listen Up report (2025) found that 1 in 3 young people report having little or no confidence – up to ten pupils in a typical classroom. By combining football’s universal appeal with activities that foster respect and resilience, Play the Right Way helps address this growing confidence crisis head-on.
